H7 HID Replacement with Ballast

Postby ajvass » Thu Jun 18, 2015 4:53 pm

Hey Guys,

i recently purchased a H7 HID Kit for my Subaru Liberty 2007 model

All hooks up perfect and working well

i just wanted to know if it is safe to keep the ballast in there with the headlight in the housing?
or do i have to cut a hole on the water proof case and attach the ballast outside the housing of the headlight?

Thanks

Well, the factory ones are sealed at the bottom/within the housing. It should be fine, provided it's mounted properly.
I'm assuming you bought one off eBay. They should be weather-sealed so you can mount them outside (should come with rubber grommets for the hole you have to cut).
