Steering Wheel Change

Hey guys,

I have a 97 Subaru Liberty Wagon, it still has the stock steering wheel in it, but im trying to find a steering wheel that will fit well with it, im thinking of maybe getting a forester steering wheel, one of the ones with the badges in the center, but im not sure if it will suit it, but the main thing i want to know is what boss kit i need so i can attach the aftermarket or forester steering wheel i end up getting, and does the boss kit for the car that i may buy affect which steering wheels i can actually get?

Some ebay links to cheap boss kits for my car and for some nice steering wheels would be awesome.

You should look for one of these genuine MOMO steering wheels from a GTB:

I retrofitted a non-airbag version (with cruise control stick) to my Gen1 years ago - they had the same boss.

Nice wheel and a good upgrade on the stock vinyl wheel.

i dont have airbags in my car though, does that matter? also do i need a boss kit for that one or no?

Probably best to look for a non-airbag wheel then. I don't believe a boss kit will be necessary (with the non-airbag wheel).
