Hey Guys,

I have a 2002 Liberty.
I want to run power from the battery to an Amp/Sub.

The only grommet I could find that wasn't used was this one:

Where does this grommet lead?
I have this strange feeling I will have to remove the entire dash to be able to find the cable...

Is there anywhere easier to run it?

Help appreciated-
Em

not sure what you mean by sub woofer power source?

From memory you run a power wire from the battery positive terminal to the amp and then just run the wires from the amp to the sub

I used one further down on the right hand side for my old one. Its a 3rd gen liberty ay? Had something else in it but just cut another hole into it. Came out below the glove box, just needed to feel around for it, used a piece of stiff steel wire as a draw wire to make things easier.

Use the grommet indicated in the pic below instead.

Get a metal coat hanger and bend it straight, poke a hole into the middle of the grommet and pull your cable through. The hole will remain watertight as the grommet is made of a tough rubber that will tightly clench the cable you pull through it. The coat hanger will appear around the right-side of the passenger footwell, from behind the glovebox (as already mentioned) as you poke downwards.
