Hi after advise
I did a gravity brake bleed and all went well, the reserve never went low or even past half way.
Turned on the car and the brake pedal went to the floor, i pumped a few times and now feels good and drives good.
Am I safe???

You should be fine, because i assume that when you bleed you brakes you also change your brake pads as well so it is normal to get a bit of abnormality in the beginning.

Sure did, got some dba t2 slotted rotors and some intima pads, first impressions are great

Yes as per the instructions in the box

You should be fine, i believe it's fine to get a soft pedal initially that's why you have to pump your brake (i believe with your engine on) this is to ensure the piston are pushing the pads against the disc because when you change your pads and discs, you first have to push the pads back to have space to take them out.

Happened to see a mechanic the other day, He said its normal to be soft for a few pumps.

Yep, just need to get the pressure back up. If it remains soft then there is a problem like a nut not tightened enought.

If you need to pump brakes, sorry but you have a problem.
If it persists then definite problem. Pads bed in quite quickly.
Re bleed brakes, it does sound like air in the system. Even a very small amount will give you a soft pedal.
I am a mechanic.

A couple of pumps to reset the pad clearance is quite normal. However if you have to persistently pump them up you have a problem.

Bedding the pads in has no effect on pedal feel; it's entirely the process of treating the pads' surface to optimise their friction characteristics.

I work on mountain bike disc brakes quite a bit. Although they're considerably scaled-down, the basic principles are the same.
