Another one... my tyre won't inflate

OK I know I've asked a lot of questions and this may sound silly, but my front right tyre won't inflate.

At the electric pump at the petrol station it won't inflate and the screen just says Error 2. My pump at home just won't inflate it. Air will come out when the valve is pushed in, but it refuses to inflate.

Any ideas?

How flat is it?
Many automatic pumps won't start inflating until they see some pressure. There is a "flat tyre" button on them to force them to start anyway.

I can't understand why your pump at home wouldnt work though. Small ones can take a long time from very flat though...

Or you might have a faulty valve on that tyre...

try deflating your tyre to release the valve and then try again.

OK I ended up just going to Bob Jane as Autobarn didn't have replacement valves. The guy said it's usually an easy fix, and he'd have a look. He just put these screw-driver looking valve thing into the valve, and then it pumped up properly. Easy done!
