Cleaning a panel filter.

for those of you who have a hks panel filter, how do you clean it?

Don't you just chuck it out and get a new one?

wash it out in soapy water , rinse,shake as much water out and dry overnight

Yes this is how its done

OH and yes please try to remember to put the filter back in its case the same way it came out as there are three different layers of foam

Coarse sponge like material to the front of the car , right Phat, I dont know if I stuffed it up last time

Dumbass question time.. can anyone remember which end of the hks filter points towards the intake (ie. unfiltered air) is it the coarse, dense foam? or the more spongy foam?

the tighter grade foam towards the AFM and the corse foam towards the front of the car
