Hey all.
I have just purchased my MY08 liberty sti. I want to get it up to 295kw and have a list I upgrades I need but I don't know where in Aus is the easiest and best place to get them from and also suggestions on particulars for my upgrades would be awesome.
I have a vf43 and am wonder if it is best to upgrade or keep it?
I want to upgrade intercooler, injectors & fuel pump, intake and exhaust. I am also wanting to find out where I can buy lips and skirts in and around brisbane or Australia.
I've just come from owning a Nissan 180sx so subi upgrades are still something I'm trying to get my head around, please don't judge my ignorance. Cheers.

oh dear, HP is expensive in a subi....... Handling is not though and is very rewarding to pursue.
Kido tune or Torqued Performance etune.
then do the sway bars n endlinks and AVO HD mounts with good rubber for a surprise

Hi mate
Firstly welcome
Is yours auto or manual?
If auto, then anything above 250awkw won't be liked much by your stock box. Budget at least 5k for a rebuild on the box if this is the case
If manual, clutch will be about all you need for the power
Thirdly - why 295kw? And is that flywheel or all wheel kw (awkw) you are after?
Making power from an EJ motor is unfortunately alot more expensive than an sr or ca Nissan
Vf43 won't make even 240awkw (on any proper dyno anyway) and that's on e85 and running within a bee's proverbial of its life
Take your pick from the following for 300awkw:
Garrett gtx3071 / 3076 / 3576 /3582
Blouch Dom 1.5 (pushing it) / 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 xtr
Precision 5867 / 6262 / 6266
GT pumps gtps03/04t (pushing it)
Bw efr 7163 / 8374 (hard pressed fitting one in a twist mount subie)
Then you will need fueling:
Depending on fuel type :
Id1000's (good for 350kw on 98 or around 270 awkw on e85)
Id1300's (good for 400kw + on 98 or 370 odd awkw on e85)
Id2000's (good for nothing under 350awkw on e85) - avoid if you can unless straight race car
Fuel pump: $250
Fuel lines: 500-2000 depending on what you want to do and how safe
Exhaust including headers (which are needed for 250 plus) : $3000 for good flowing system including full exhaust, headers, dump pipe and twist mount setup)
Fmic and piping $1500 for good setup
Ancillaries : $2500-3000 depending on your style
And at anything above 230awkw on an ej255 I would say an engine build is a definite - $10k minimum for proper setup
Big dollars for 300awkw you will see
Good luck
Mick

If money no problem then go for the power side of things.
Mick you are conservative in your pricing estimates.
