factory key and alarm pad

Hey guys,

I'm not really sure if this has been covered and how to search for it...

I recently purchased a Liberty B4 that had the factory keypad taken out and replaced with Mongoose alarm. Now the guy had only factory key and only one alarm pad. I will be getting another alarm pad to delete any other possible ones he might have kept...

But my main question here is, can i couple the alarm pad and factory key together? idea is to minimize weight and make it look more factory... has anyone done this and if so, how please?

Thanks again,

John.

I can't see why it wouldn't be possible. Depending on your skill level (electrically) you could do some research on the matter (definitely been done before) and have a hack

Otherwise it could be a trip to an Auto-Elec which could get costly?

I can't see why either... but i took the keys to a locksmith / key-cutter and he found it almost impossible... i was very disappointed with his answer coz he didn't even bother looking into it.

what key case can i use?
