Help identifying mystery part

So I found this rubber part in the spare wheel well area of my wagon. Does anyone recognise what it is, or where it should go?

It was with the Jack and Towball stuff, but the previous owner also had Roof Rack pieces there, so it could be related to any of those.

half the crap i've found in wheel wells over the year have never had anything to do with cars
Speed doesn't kill its the sudden stop that does.

Looks like a bump stop to me.
Did the previous owner lower the car?

Ah, that's a good idea Ric. I don't think it's lowered (see pic below, it's on standard size 18s). One thing I shold've mentioned is that's the rubber piece was only 3-4cm long (the scale of it is hard to see in a pic). I dunno how big a Liberty bump stop is, but I would've thought it's bigger than that?
