Hi guys,
Does anyone know if there are larger WRX or forrester rotors and calipers that bolt onto the my06 gen4 liberty bp5?
I dont want to go to the extreme of installing brembo's

No.. 4/2 pot WRX brakes actually have less clamping force than your current 2/1 pot calipers (assuming you still have the STI as listed in your profile).

Look at things like upgraded pads, rotors, braided lines.

Apart from upgrading rotors/pads/lines as Sean said, Brembos are the next best thing from your current stock brakes.

I would have thought larger rotors with pads clamping pressure on more surface area would be an improvement?

Yes, you are correct, bigger rotor surface therefore bigger pads = more clamping force. See below.

Fronts:

Forester brakes (03+): 294x24 vented rotor with 2pot caliper

WRX 4pot brakes: 294x24 vented rotor with 4pot caliper

Liberty GT brakes: 316x30 vented rotor with 2pot caliper

Brembos: 326x30 vented rotor with 4pot caliper

Rears:

Forester brakes (03+): Rear: 266x10 solid rotor with 1pot caliper

WRX 4pot brakes: 290x18 vented rotor with 2pot caliper

Liberty GT brakes: 290x18 vented rotor with 1pot caliper

Brembos: 316x20 vented rotor with 2pot caliper

I might just get some DBA 2650x & 653x rotors, bendix ultimates, braids and then maybe try and find some wrx rear 2 pot calipers. Any idea which model wrx will fit?
Also, are those brake stoppers a load of wank?

Yup, go the rotors pads and lines for sure. Don't forget some decent fluid too with a flush.

Not sure I'd bother upgrading rears to 2pots. Fronts do most of the work anyway.

Brake stoppers do firm up your pedal a bit, as for bang for buck I couldn't really say, plus they look pretty awesome either way

Pro-tip get the one that attaches to the actual chassis of your car, not the one that is part of the strut brace, they flex too much.

Yeah good fluid as well for sure. I was gonna go with DBA 42650xs & 4653xs but I think they might be overkill, not sure.
I was looking at the MRT brake stopper, it looked pretty serious with three fixing points. a lot more convincing than the likes of the Cusco ones

Consider RDA rotors also.. Perform just like DBA rotors do for a fraction of the price. Part numbers are RDA7559 and RDA7556; add a D to the end of each for slotted/dimpled. Don't worry about the 2 pot rears. Considered a better pad as well??

The cusco one (not the integrated strut brace one) also has 3 mounting points. How is the MRT one better?

The MRT design reminds me of 'triple grip', the things holding your roof trusses on your house.
The independent Cusco one I've seen is sort of an inline right angle design, although the Cusco does look cooler than the MRT.
Have you had both Kekotic? if so, which one is better?

No +1. Go for a drive in a WRX and realise how slow they are to brake even taking into account the weight difference. WRX guys often fit the LGT/H6 brakes as an upgrade hence why so many WRX sets for sale.
