Hi guys
Where is the aux plug for the McIntosh sound system located in an 08 Spec B wagon? Anyone found it and what have you used it for?

Cheers

Matt

In the centre console next to the second cigarette lighter socket, oops sorry about that, power source.
I have my Bury cc9068 car kit connected to it.

Any non phone call audio from mobile phone runs through the aux port. Music, maps, and so on.
Meaning I can control volume with steering wheel controls, and the sound runs through the Mac system

If it's not in your centre console next to your 12v power socket, your car doesn't have it.
It came as an option, even though your headunit has an AUX button, doesn't necessarily mean you have the AUX input socket. All it requires is the genuine AUX harness which plugs into the back of the headunit.

I use it to play music from a phone or music player through the audio system....isn't that what AUX is for in sound systems...? ;)
