McIntosh CD Error - '07 GTB

Hi Guys,

I've had a look around this forum and others, seems as though my Head Unit is not allowing me to insert CDs. I'm not sure if there are current CD's stuck in there (as I just bought it off the previous owner), but it won't allow me to get those out if there is (I'm assuming there is because these things are prone to issues with burnt CDs and not originals).

Has anyone had this issue and do they know how to fix it?

NB: I've read elsewhere to undo the battery for 20 minutes or so (I did it for only a couple of mins) and it didn't work, some others recommended bashing the right side of the dash and it'll come out (I'm not sure if I'm ready for this yet).
