Hi guys,

Just picked up my '06 3.0R-B last night :D and the 'mute' button on the right side of my steering wheel is not working at all :( . The volume up and down are fine.

Anyone had this problem before? If so how to fix?

Might have some dirt/grime stuck in it.
Can pull them apart (wheel off thou) and give them a clean and see what happens.

May also be that the contact has fallen off the touch pad.

The only way to fix it is with a new touch pad. :(
This happened to my volume down button.

Is there a thread on how to do this? How much did it cost you?
Thanks.

No thread to my knowledge.
I bought a steering wheel off jarrod for the switches, just need to swap over the pads.

Simple to do your self, just remove the steering wheel and take out the screws that hold on the back cover.
You must disconnect the battery before you remove the airbag.

Does this mean you have a spare preface wheel with spot for switches. Would I be able to buy it off you??
