did my 05 Gt over the weekend and biggest tip i can add is if you have big arms do not drop the left hand dust cover off the back of the light.
Speed doesn't kill its the sudden stop that does.

Probably a bit late replying to this, but the color of those lights have been bugging me for ages!
Was going to order some LED's and just wanted to confirm the T10 type and came across this.

Just wanted to say thanks for putting in the effort on the write up!

Great to hear! You're welcome.
I figured it was sufficiently complex to warrant some instructions, given that in most other cars you can change parkers in 30 secs with no tools.

Excellent write-up - thanks!!! I've just replaced both blown bulbs with 6000k LED's, heaps better now. Easy when you know how, otherwise a bit of a head scratcher.....

Great write-up....but....BEWARE!! :!:

If the LED T10 parkers are not a tight fit, they might (or in my case - DID) fall out of the holder.

I tried shoving a jewelers screwdriver handle with bluetak on it to get it out.

Result? I now have a LED T10 AND a lump of bluetak in my light.

FML :x

I guess the whole headlight will be coming out of the car now.....

So......turns out you can extract Blutak and T10 bulbs from inside the headlight housing with a carefully bent piece of black irrigation hose and a vacuum cleaner!! :D

Happy days - don't have pull the bumper off to get the headlight off.

:!: But another trap for the unwary: Some T10 LED housings have alloy sides either as a heat-sink or for cosmetic reasons. These may be a problem in some vehicles. In my case, a 2006 Subaru Outback. The front park light holder has metal contacts that go up beside the bulb. They will short out on a T10 LED with an alloy base.
