Help!!
I have an Australian release 2001 Liberty wagon and we shoehorned a 1998 B4 motor from Japan into it.
Unfortunately the "mechanic " I used cut all the vacuum hoses & wiring before he vanished, so I now new an engine diagram to piece it back together.
Can anybody tell me where I can get one please?

vacuum hoses are easily replaced, but define "cut wiring"?

Are you saying the ECU wires are all cut?

I wouldn't call that shoehorning.

Sorry I can't help out with the diagram :)

I think he means the engine loom wires have been cut.

Is it legal to put an older engine in a newer car?

The ECU is still under the dash and I think the plug through the firewall is there, but the loom in the engine bay is a mess.

I have a replacement loom, but no idea whether it is complete, or what goes where.

I think he tried to lengthen the loom, or something, because there were wires everywhere.

Rob.

Not sure - still the same generation, so it might be OK.

I'd pull out the TT abomination, convert to single turbo and have a much better car
