Headlight chrome bit removal ?

Anybody know how to remove (if its possible) the chrome trim on the inner end of the gen 4 headlights please? Strikes me its an ideal place to put DRL leds...

Do you mean the headlight washers? I would think that'd be incredibly difficult and still keep the wash function.
I think ADR's require HID's to have washers and be self leveling...

Easy, drive along the highway at 80+ km/h and use your windscreen washer, the chrome covers will come right off :lol:

As said, they're an ADR requirement, not like many of us here take much notice of that half the time..

No headlight washers on my post facelift, just pieces of chromed plastic fillers. And I have HIDs, so whats this cr@p about ADRs ? Sounds like the dealer saying he wont disable the key inserted/door open chime (Mazda 3), as it would make unroadworthy - many cars dont have this #$@%Y^ chime (eg the Subies), so how can it be a RWC item ?

Are you sure they aren't washers? They pop out when activated so you can't tell by just looking at them what they are.
