Rear Wiper on Sedan, and electric Mirrors.

Is there anybody here who's done either or both of these?
Why Subaru Australia follow the bullshit trend of removing the wiper on the back window on the sedans is beyond me.
And the lack of powered mirror protection annoys me too. Anybody know where I can get my hands on the parts for it?

I was thinking of doing the rear wiper. Coming from a two-door coupe, I really miss the rear wiper :(

I've priced up a secondhand glass for about $400ish, but then we need the wiper motor, wiper stalk, wiper arm, and washer bottle with pump. I don't know how hard those items would be to source, I'm fairly sure it'd be do-able though!

Rear wiper is awesome!

Jap cars all have them and they ACTUALLY serve a purpose!!

Side mirrors i think Kagetsu means like my 180sx ones, they fold inwards.

You can buy a motor for it. Shane bought the motor for it on his B4, i am very sure there was a kit for the Gen4.

I used to link up the side fold in mirrors to my alarm, so when i arm my car, it folds my mirrors in, then unarm folds them back out. Best idea aswell to fight against those annoying people who walk between ur car in the shopping centres and bump ur mirrors, or those annoying trolleys!

So, who's going to get the rear wiper done?

Based on my parts list, am I missing anything else?

If you can find out all the parts we need, I'm in for it without thinking.
Yes, thinking of the electronic fold in mirrors. Most Japanese domestic cars have it, due to the parking restrictions in Japan.

Looking for an EPC (electronic parts catalog) for JDM Subaru Legacy.

Can get the glass and the motor quite easily, the washer bottle (if it's the same?), washer pump, wiper stalk and wiper arm are seemingly much harder.

By the looks of things, the washer nozzle is integrated in the wiper arm, right?
