Dash lights on MY00

Hi, I'm looking to replace one/all of the dash illumination globes as one of the globes (behind the fuel meter) has, I assume, blown. Figured I might as well do them all while I'm in there, before I take apart the rest of the car to get into it though, I'm wondering if anyone knows of the colour of the globes themselves. I've gathered from various places there are 4x T10 globes and that the cluster, I think, has a teal-ish coloured tint itself. I want to keep the same colour of the lights as I like the green. Anyone been through this process and can tell me what colour the globes are (I'm assuming white or green)? Also, any recommendations on normal globes vs LED's. Thanks

I didn't do my dash clusters yesterday but from pulling the stereo area apart for stereo install yesterday I have T 5 and some other funky looking light globes that I took to Jaycar and they had no idea what it was ?? As for colours you can buy simple colour covers from S C Auto or simply slide off your existing covers as mine were green , I payed $3 for set of 2 Narva T5 but if I had the coin Id go LED's but they are a bit pricy, Hope this helps Cheers Sandy

Thanks Sandy, as it turns out the lights did have blue silicon covers on them. Too bad supercheapauto only had a 2 pack of lights when I needed 4, now I have the fuel guage and speedometer brighter than the rev and head meters. I think I actually like it though 8)

Hey Kharnivoar, is changing out these globes hard to do? I need to change one behind the tacho. I haven't been game enough to pull it apart yet, I don't want to break anything haha
