2004 GT exhaust system Question...

Postby TorpedoCreative » Mon Mar 10, 2008 10:32 am

Simple Q.....looking at a 2nd hand system - Will a 2004 GT exhaust system (turbo back) fit a 2007 GT?

cheers

Hold on, Phil. TorpedoCreative said turbo back. Does that mean it includes the downpipe that connects directly to the turbo? Or is that just the centre pipe from the DP to the cat?

If it does include the DP, aren't the MY04-MY06 twin scroll? While the MY07+ single scroll? Bah, doesn't matter. If anything he can just exclude the DP during installation.

thanks guys... yeah, that was my main concern - where the turbo joins the system... I take it I wont be able to use the DP then?

cheers

I think the turbo flange is different. I could be wrong though.

Mate just buy the Full turbo back exhaust if you can get a good deal, and sell me the aftermarket dump pipe.

I would like a dump pipe for my car, but the price they as for one piece of metal a meter long is ridiculous.
