Hi all,
I have changed my steering wheel on my libertyMY07. Originally the wheel has only cruise control button but I replaced it with both cruise control and audio control.
Now! both use the same socket,,,after replaced,,cruise control works fine BUT audio control does NOT work! However, the buttons lights up when head lights on.
Is it anyway to make it works??
Thanks in advanced.
***it a 6 stack CD head unit***

Needs more info/pics, car model/trim level/pic of HU.
But you may be missing or need to connect a harness to the back of the HU.
Use the search link in my sig, SWC search term as I think this has been covered already here.

Sounds like you may have the issue where the data wires are not being connected to the steering wheel plug (some MY07's need to be modified to connect these wires to the audio system whilst MY08 appears to have them already factory-connected).

In any case, this post should help you.

I had the same problem , the two wires to the HU don't exists
You will need to tap into the two wires after the clock spring in the steering wheel column and go straight into the HU after that happy days
And ....... Good luck !!

Good to hear
Great, relatively inexpensive mod that also finishes off the steering wheel nicely
