Center diff knocking

Have a major knocking and vibration through my gearbox. I'm assuming its the center diff. I would love to hear ideas and maybe where to find more info about the problem and how to fix it. Thanks. The car is an 02 rx 5 speed manual wagon, 2.5lt.
