How hard is it to remove the instrument cluster from the dash? can you do it without taking the steering wheel off?

I'd say that its not hard to remove it and you don't have to remove the steering wheel.

Start by removing the dash panels around the steering wheel and you'll see what needs to come out in order to get the cluster out.

Cheers mate, speculation is something I have done myself. I know from my previous Liberty that there were hidden screws etc to remove and that if you did take it off with the wheel attached it could (and in my case did) cause minor surface scuffing.

Don't want to sound harsh but I am after advce from someone that has done it, if no one has then I may just have to go down the path myself - if I could be bothered.

I am considering a cosmetic change but if it is too 'hard' then i won't bother.
