So when i bought my gt i didnt know my intercooler was slanted but comparing to other engine bays ive seen, it obviously is. Pics show what i mean. From looking at the pics, can anyone tell me what is missing or what wrong part has been used? From what i can see through bonnet vent, it looks as though it isnt sealing properly as a result it may be getting water into place it shouldnt.

I'd dig up the factory service manual for your model and check out how to remove and reinstall your TMIC.

Especially since one of the passenger side support bolts to the inlet manifold is not fully done up.

It has been suggested to me (by Bruce) that stock replacement clamps are a good idea when doing the reinstall.

No hidden meaning, if the stock clamps are tired, replace them with fresh new ones - they should be inexpensive.

Okay I see now, you are talking about the hose clamps. I understand what you mean about them getting tired so to speak, but I fail to see how that's part of the problem here with the OP. He just needs to reseat the TMIC if he really wants, although it won't make any difference to performance.

Its not about performance, its about being fitted properly. The big metal washer on driver side doesnt look factory. Im thinking the rubber gromets used arent factory either.

Better sealing to the TMIC/scoop interface would be a good thing.
OP, the seal is to promote airflow through the TMIC, rather than preventing "getting water into place it shouldnt"...

better sealing to the TMIC with an extra 6 degrees is not going to make a damn difference. As long as everything is working correctly and no leaks I honestly wouldn't bother about it. But if you insist, then just undo all the bolts and reseat it, will take 20 mins and is literally as simple as undoing the bolts, moving it to the position you want and doing the bolts up again.

So all the parts used look stock then?

There's a schematic in the service manual that shows what bits go where.
Ring Makin & Luby with your VIN - they or your local dealer should be able to supply parts if req'd.
Or find a wreck & DIY...

Looks fine to me... If anything the bracket on the drivers side may be abit bent or something. As said it probably makes very very little/no difference apart from costmetically if it's really obvious...
