I'd probably ring around a few wreckers and find out how much a Gen3 spoiler would be - might be the same price as repairing that.

Sure can be, with a little time and effort. As above though I'd look for a new one, then you can practice fibreglassing and bogging on the old one and have a spare.

Thats a easy repair .Try to cut a piece of wood with a screw hook in it make it as large as possible to fit through the hole then pull it so its flat with the in sided then just glass it up with a bit of glass mat .

Is there any suitable wood to use?

Is there another name for glass mat eg. brand/product name? Google search results showed it is also called glass cloth, however I can't find anything on bunnings.com.au

Any wood would do the reason for using wood is that the resin sticks to the wood like shit to a blanket . Have repaired many holes in boats this way

Should I be looking for anything specific, or just a fibreglass repair resin as listed with those search results?
