Relocating battery to boot

Hi guys,

Bought myself an Optima Yellow-Top D34 without really thinking (only paid $140 for it  ), turns out it's a little too big and doesn't really fit too well in the engine bay. So, my plan is to relocate it too the boot.
Has anyone else done this? I can't seem to find anything on here. I've had a look through mightymods and several other forums and there's a few good tips and such, It looks simple enough, but I still really have NFI what I am getting myself into.
I've got a battery tray, bolts, terminals, crimps and all that assorted crap so far.
I have a few questions though:
1. Is 4ga enough, or should I go 0/2ga? (dual battery kits and so forth only come with 4ga)
2. Should I get a circuit breaker or a fuse thing for it?
3. Is earthing my engine to the body enough, after the battery is gone from the engine bay?
4. Should I run dual batteries instead? (My current battery is 370CCA and the D34 is 750CCA, apparently this difference is not recommended)
4a. Will my standard alternator keep up?
5. Best place in a Gen 3 boot to bolt it down?
6. Is there a convenient way to jump start it, if it dies?
7. Should I just give up, sell it and buy the smaller D51?

Cheers!

Done a few of these installs.

I used the VE Holden Commodore battery positive terminal post in the engine bay as a jump start point as they run a rear battery setup from factory.
I use 0ga
300A circuit breaker or slow blow fuse is optimal close to the battery as it will cut the circuit if your in an accident and the wiring is cut by the chassis and shorts etc
Earthing engine to chassis is fine, the battery gets earth on a chassis rail bolt, I like using the towbar attachement bolts if fitted etc
