Postby Ashleigh » Sun Dec 16, 2012 10:49 am

Mount a BOV has anyone done this and can maybe show me
Some pics.

I don't mean to be rude but do you know what a bov is? You will find your car is fitted with one from the factory. A replacement bov will go in its place.

Total waste of money that can be better spent elsewhere.

If you want to hear your BOV more a pod filter or better panel filter will give you a bit more sound.

Well I'm booked in to get a tune and exhaust at chiptorque
In January when I head up for a holiday. I just want to know where abouts
On my engine the factory one is though but no one can seem
To tell me.

On a gen 4 it's actually attached to the TMIC (under engine cover), not sure about the gen 5. You'll know it when you see it.

BOV is down in front of turbo, not needing an upgrade on it either, they hold boost well.

With a turbo back exhaust, they make a little over 200kw@wheels

I am in Coffs Harbour if you would prefer one of my tunes, fair bit cheaper and closer as well!
