Hi guys
I know this probably does not relate to this forum site so I apologise if I offend anyone at all by my following question.
I am keen on helping out my gf to modify her current ride; Volvo S40 1999 model (so not the current model but the one before that) her model is the 2.0T (Turbocharged model) which comes in Limited Edition Light Blue colour. I guess my question is whether any of you have any suggestions on what to do with the car (as it is completely stock atm) or if any of you had this as your previous cars??? I am open to suggestions.
Thank you and once again sorry if I ask help for another vehicle.
Cheers
Brian

I'm guessing she only wants to do mild modifications (i.e. nothing overly stupid, like air filter, exhaust etc)?
I'd recommend a chip or a tune.
try

np. Some of those European cars have very conservative engine management because of strict emissions regulations...
Wheels and lowerage is a good start.
Pity it's not the newer shape S40... they are hawt!

mate, de badge the S40. lower it and put on some decent rims and tyres
perhaps some dark tint and some colour coding on the side rails & mirrors.
they run extremely low boost settings so you could tweak that a bit but lets face it , its not a sprinter, they are a nice safe cruiser..

Yea, she wasn't looking much at performance modification besides from having a BOV in place and maybe some rims, etc....paint wise the car is pretty good but there some deep scratches and dents....actually there are lots of these hehehe but the overall paint still looks good.
Do you know anyone in Sydney who can fix up these scratches and dents?

LOL!! Chris stop being nice and tell him what you really mean
Brian I am guessing you are aiming for a mild sort of mod, not all out power... set it up to be a cruiser

is what I would do.
Volvo have come along way since the "Safe and Secure Car" tag.
