To those who have taken apart their headlights...

Currently ive got my stock 3.0R headlights installed (which are all chrome inside)



and i am replacing one with a GT (or any other model) headlight on the drivers side (which are black inside)



i want them obviously to match, so does anyone if these chrome parts at the bottom are just inserts or is it
painted on? Would like to know if i can open the other side up and take the insert out.

I would say it's chrome plating, can't imagine them being removable inserts. Just paint both sides a satin back or grey or something. PM hks180 and ask him what colour he painted the inside of my headlight, looks very close to stock.
