Boot Remote Button Help

Postby specwarop » Sat Nov 17, 2012 10:34 am

Gday,

Just wondering what could be the likely problem here.
The remote isnt working for the boot. I press the button nothing happens.
The boot does hope by pulling the lever at the drivers seat, just not the remote.
However, the remote does unlock the doors...

So what is likely the issue here, remote or boot?
And where should I look for a replacement?

Regards

+1

Stops you accidentally opening the boot. Doors will relock if you accidentally unlock and don't open a door, but the boot obviously can't do this.

Also if the boot is not shut when you lock the doors the lights will flash 5 times instead of the normal 1 time to remind you ;)

Just a clarification here..
Are you's saying that the boot should actually open up?? Or that it just unlocks?

It releases, doesn't physically open. Although I've been thinking about putting springs from a model with a spoiler in mine so that it does open itself... Worked on my last car :P
