Replace o2 Sensor (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

Postby tkdbboy » Fri Aug 03, 2012 12:18 pm

Hey guys,

Did a bit of crawling around on this section and the 2.0t engine section aswell and couldn't seem to find a how to guide.

Just wondering where the location of the sensor is and the steps to replace it?

Is it something not so simple and I should just leave to the professionals?

Cheers! :)

I am in the same boat and looking to do it myself It looks easy enough
the sensor is on the DP and can be easily disconnected and changed once you remove the turtle shell
looks to be about a 21mm open end ringy to remove
I am looking at this A/F ratio sensor on ebay anyone had any dealings with this or are we all using Phat sensors

I've recently purchased the Phat sensor which is the new genuine subaru sensor that apparently never fails!

So fingers crossed :D haha
