hey guys! the names james. im pretty new here so forgive me if i do anything wrong!
im looking to swap out the tired old 2.2L N/A engine in my liberty with an ej20t from a rex or maybe a BG5/BH5 twin turbo from a b4/GTB. (leaning towards twin). anyway im just wondering whats the better option. Buy a written off rex/lib, or grab a half cut. my real question is about hooking up the ecu to make it all run. could i use my existing wiring harness or could i simply rip it out of a write off?

(by the way: i know it would save me a tone of money, pain and time by just simply buying a rex or a b4. but my goal is to turn the 95 lx into one of perth's best sleepers! otherwise i wouldn't really be asking!)

id appreciate any opinions, replies or just what ever you think!
thanks, James

Best bet is get a halfcut. they have engine, loom, ecu, gearbox, mounts, brakes, turbo, TMIC etc. everything. Perfect for a conversion. Pull our current loom out and use the one from the halfcut. Spares always help, bolts and everything.
