Keyless entry troubles?

Postby B45Spd » Thu Jul 12, 2012 9:06 pm

OK,my B4 started giving me trouble today.
This morning it took a few pushes of the open button on the keyless entry before the doors unlocked.
So i thought battery problems so replaced it.
Now the thing wont work at all and when I use the key to enter the car it thinks that I am trying to steal it.
Any ideas what the problem could be would be a great help, I don't feel like driving the holden to work.

I know with my old Forester (01 model) there was a specific brand of battery (Panasonic I think) that has been proven to work heaps better than any other brand. This may or may not help you.

Got it sorted now.Got 3 keys with this car.A new one ,a used one and one with half the plastic missing off it.
I put the battery into the new one but must be faulty.so after swapping them back it is all working.
