Maintenance Schedule setting

Postby jm1020 » Thu Jun 28, 2012 9:03 pm

Hi all ,

I have a liberty my08 limited Edition sat nav.

When setting the maintance schedule within the nav to remind you when the next service is due it seams to be limited to 99,900km ?

The car has done 250,000km+ is their a way to add an extra digit in the system ? Surely it wouldn't stop at 99,900?

Thanks

Could it be because at the 100,000 service the schedule resets? It might be at 125,000 though...

It could be a 2007 MY08, making it 5 years old. So only 50k a year.

Geez that's still a good 245 kilometres per day, every day of the week! Most people only drive around 50-75K's per day to go to work and back home again...!
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

The car has done 250,000km+ is their a way to add an extra digit in the system ? Surely it wouldn't stop at 99,900?

Thanks

It's the mileage interval to the next service, e.g. 5000Klm, as opposed to the total mileage.
Mine is set (or reset) by the dealership when my car is serviced...
