hey today i was changing my rear plate lights and after the installation i went and turned the electrics on i realized that my sat nav/speakers were not working. any suggestions as to what i should do to resolve this problem? im a noob btw

First step would be to check your fuses. You may have shorted something out and popped a fuse.
