Trip computer: switch from km/L to L/100km

Postby tangcla » Thu Nov 29, 2007 12:43 pm

As you know, the center info panel above the head unit shows the time, and a switching info pane for fuel economy, outside temperature and elapsed trip time.

The 04 model has kilometres per litre, whereas the 05+ has litres per hundred kilometres.

Does anyone know of a way to switch between the two modes? I've looked at the panel and the LCD is the same for both 04 and 05 models.

no, I haven't looked at it, I was told by someone that it's controlled by the ECU, and since it came standard on the MY05+ I thought it was a non-changeable option.

Calling dealer now...

Just got off the phone with the service department at Subaru Glen Waverley - they say that there's no way to change it over.

I think an ECU reflash might resolve it...

I enquired about this ages ago when I first got my car, and was also told that it couldn't be changed.
