Do you mean you want a wire that has power when that light is on, down in the dashboard,
or do you mean you want to install something up near the dome light, and want to take power from there?

I'm assuming he wants power when that light is on. Possibly for footwell lights that operate with the dome light when a door is open and fade off with it too.

Best not to assume when there are a couple of reasonable alternatives, and the desired outcome has not been mentioned.

Correct!
Sorry guys didn't give alot of info ..
Need to make sure i can wire it up so just using the terminals on the dome light to make sure it works then need a more usable source.
So i need a power source that comes on when you unlock the car aka dome light ..

doesnt the dome light come on when you open the door ?
You can get door signal that the light is powered off from the op connector behing the fuse box, it a wierd looking plug in the top row has 2 pins on onside and 1 on the other. google op connector for a pic, But you want pin 7 which is Brown for door signal.

That won't be the one you want. If you tap into the door signal wire then the halos won't turn on when the car is unlocked, only when one particular door is open right??

this is true, only when any door (and maybe the boot) is opened will it turn on.
You need to look into maybe making a laching relay that turns on and latchs when you unlock the car, but not when you lock it.

Too much effort just to have them turn on for all of 30 seconds (that's a guess). Just tap into the parkers, easy done
