Standard Liberty springs will fit.
They have to be standard height Liberty springs though which are low Outback springs. If they are low Liberty springs then id suggest your struts will have no travel.
Theres also chassis lifting blocks in the Gen3 Outback so not as simple as lowering with springs if you want a big drop.
Also theres no King low spring option if its a H6 to accomodate for the extra weight up front.
Outback Low springs H4 only - KFSR-22
KSRL-29
Liberty standard springs - KFSR-22
KFSR-29

Oh I see! It's actually for a limited h6 which makes it a bit harder I guess.
I have a set of Gen 4 billies sitting there, will they fit with the Gen 3 strut tops? Or are coilovers the better option?

Just get the coilovers - alot easier in the end.

Coilovers would be the better option, but put the Gen3 top hats on the Gen4 suspension, throw it in and see how it sits just out of interests sake. Only a 2 hour job. Are the billies out of a wagon?

Yeh the billies are out of a wagon.I guess anything will be better than the chopped springs in there at the moment, when we jacked the car up the springs unseated themselves!
Lucky my mate picked the wagon up for hella cheap.
