First remove brake callipers and rotors undo the main bolt disconnect the knuckles from the supension and so on press out the old bearings and get a servo to press in the new bearings.. But just wantin to know if theres anything else id have to do and also got told it could be the hubs which i dont know about

In the older ones the bearings are a hit and miss, sometimes when you are pressing out the old bearing it will crush in the hub and sieze up, rendering the hub useless. That's when the hub will require replacing.

I would suggest if you know a good wrecker in your area you could consider getting a 97 WRX front hub and and fit that in its entirity. It will likely be faster. You can then go and take your time having the bearing pressed out/in at your leisure.
