how do i gen1 front bearing replacment

hey guys i got a bad scraping sound comin from the front wheels of my liberty at low and high speed and from what iv gathered its the bearings that need replacing i plan on doin the replacement myself and wanna know if how iv been told is right.... First remove brake callipers and rotors undo the main bolt disconnect the knuckles from the supension and so on press out the old bearings and get a servo to press in the new bearings.. But just wantin to know if theres anything else id have to do and also got told it could be the hubs which i dont know about

In the older ones the bearings are a hit and miss, sometimes when you are pressing out the old bearing it will crush in the hub and sieze up, rendering the hub useless. That's when the hub will require replacing.

I would suggest if you know a good wrecker in your area you could consider getting a 97 WRX front hub and and fit that in its entirity. It will likely be faster. You can then go and take your time having the bearing pressed out/in at your leisure.
