tailgate trim

Postby YamYam » Sun Oct 07, 2007 10:31 pm

Can someone give me an idea on how to remove the chrome trim (in between reverse lights on an MYO5) on the tailgate of the Liberty Wagon. It's the only bit of chrome left on the car and is proving a bit of a pain to get off.

Any help appreciated

Cheers

A question for the wagon boys or ask Phat, he knows these cars inside out.

Yeah! there aint too much about these cars the ''Phat man'' doesn't know. He has probably forgotten more than you or I know.

An absolute PITA to remove, to the point of getting the masking tape out and painting it attached.......

if you don't intend on removing it again, why not just mask it and paint it whilst on the car?

You won't get proper coverage if you do that...
