Have seen the step by step guide from the sound deadening workshop, but had one quick question and apologies in advance if this is a really simple one. My car had the interior damage on the passenger rear door trim when I'd bought it. Have managed to source a whole door trim from a wrecker here in qld for about $100. My question is, will the new door trim essentially replace all the damage that can be seen in the photo? I assume it would from the pictures of the melbourne sound deadening workshop of the interior panels removed. Hope it's not too difficult to replace.

It should, the whole door card is a one-piece.

GT Tony, not sure if you're asking or telling me, but I got in contact with sunspares on the sunshine coast and they informed me that they had the door trim I was after. Sent them a couple more photos of my door, but waiting to hear back from them that it's the correct model. Hopefully will get it sorted out tomorrow.

Their web page seems to show a few WRXs/Libertys/Foresters etc that they have at the moment.

Definitely should be one piece, or else i wouldn't be paying the price of a "door trim", if that's what the wrecker is saying it is. Good luck mate

Wanted to stretch the legs of the liberty with the new bilsteins which were recently put in so took the one hour drive to the wreckers so I could check out the trim. Paid a little extra for them to install it - cheap repair and happy with the result! Would have tried to do it myself but I have a history of turning simple things into a disaster (and unfortunately on call this weekend)! They've got a few libertys they're parting out at the moment.

Sorry mate... didn't take it with me when they installed the new one. Try sunspares on the sunshine coast near the ginger factory... they deliver australia wide as well. Or your local wrecker if your not SEQ based?

Good result! Over the last couple of years I have been slowly fixing minor things like this, rattles, trim pieces loose/faded etc. It's good to get everything back to a good condition

Agreed! Was very happy to find an easy fix for the trim. The rear driver's side passenger door had a few minor imperfections but i thought I was getting too fussy when i started worrying about them.

As an aside, your redline boots encouraged me to order a set! Black perforated leather with JDM red stitch to match the DAMD steering wheel ... They're on sale at the moment + 10% facebook voucher ... bargain!

I recently jumped on the Redline site and noticed they now have the original fabric from Bride seats

I'm tempted to replace my blue alcantara boots with the black Bride ones.

I emailed them and the special prices go to the end of the month and the current FB 10% off (valid on the special prices) goes to the end of this week (well 27th of May European/US time I guess).

Picked my Lib up with some damage/discolouring to the silver plastic trim around the window switch. I've been looking at taking trim apart to see if it's just a cover plate or if it's one piece containing the electronics as well. It's proven to be a pain to remove and I don't want to risk breaking anything, anyone know how easily this peice comes out?
