Factory HIDs are generally of a higher quality than aftermarket kits, which are made in Korea/Taiwan/China. They also have a different projector lens which gives a better cutoff, too...

to adjust the low beams, u need to pull the intake off.

there u will see a grey-ish silver plate with teeth on it. ont he back of the plate will be a socket. forgot if it's 8 or 10.

u can adjust it using that socket OR sticking a phillips head screwdriver onto the teeth (will see grove in plastic molding for it)

it's the BOTTOM one, not sure what the top one does, but bottom one to adjust low beams.

i've given up on adjusting my JDM HIDs, when you lower your car they become crap so i'm planning to order some replacement bulbs from Japan. Heard its huge improvement over the factory. Interested in a group buy?
