So, Tim Young's 2008MY 3.0R Spec-B has now done 200,000 kilometers on its CorgiWerx Centre Differential.

Tim's comments "Better than what Subaru factory built".

CorgiWerx records show his centre diff was a very early produced unit prepared back in May 2016.

We believe that Tim has received value for his investment.

Hi,
i have a question about your calculation on the previous page with the new/worn tires on the rear/front axle: You came to a certain speed difference across the center differential and multiplied it with the torque rating of the viscous coupling to calculate the heat. But shouldn't the speed difference be divided by 2 first?
Because as the diff housing is rotating with the average speed of front and rear output shaft and the viscous coupling being placed between the housing and the rear output shaft it would only work at half the speed difference of the complete diff. Or does the 40Nm at 100rpm rating already refer to the front/rear speed difference?
