Sunroof button

Postby alcapone26 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 1:25 pm

Anyone know if there is a way around having to press the sunroof button twice to close it (from completely open to completely closed)?

Quite annoying... :x

I have always wondered the SAME thing.... how it half way closes and then you have to press it again.

I have just learnt to live with it.

you guys are hope-less, i figured it out the day i got my libb..
if you press it normally and let it go quickly it will stop half way..

but if you press quite firmly and push up as well as forward and hold for 2-3 secs it will fully close..

i figured this one out on my old gen 3 because it had the same method to close my drivers side window ai (auto)...

peace

I call bullshit unless you mistakenly think we are talking about the driver's side window.

Regarding the sunroof, you can't push the button up as well as forward, only forward and back.

I was mucking around with it and there is no way that it can close in one action. It is a safety measure as someone mentioned and it's very annoying.

Postby alcapone26 » Thu Feb 21, 2008 10:14 am

Maybe he is turning right too fast and the driver window goes horizontal?

I think its a subi thing as mums forrester does it to. Subi needs the BM/MB system where you get otu with the sunroof open, windows down then lock the car. If you hold down the lock button the roof and windows close. Same goes for when you unlock it. Its so cool lol
