Though I changed from a 92 5 speed to an 03 6 speed I thought it was worth it. I used an STI (WRX) box, which didn't have the longer ratios on 5th and 6th, so I didn't sit on 2100rpm @ 100kph, I was closer to 2600. (with 215/45/17 tyres)
