OIL PRESSURE GAUGE

hey guys,
finally got around to getting my oil pressure gauge but now im stuck and need some advise. it came with a oil pressure solenoid but i don't know were it goes, do i need another adaptor maybe aswell to install this or not? any pics or read ups would be appreciated

Do you mean 'oil pressure sensor' , rather than solenoid? In which case,it would need to be connected to a T piece with the std idiot light sensor,IMHO.

mmmm one way to do this is get your self a sandwich plate so it sit between the oil filter and the bottom of the sump. and you can mount the sensor to the sandwich plate.

that sandwich plate sounds like a better way than the actual t piece but im guessin its not cheap, do you know were i can get one from i seen one once but dont remember which site i was on

ok finally in and workin, had to get the sandwich plate, 45 bucks delivered from just jap, apparently couldn't get the t-piece cause the sensor unit still wouldn't fit, not much room next to the alternator or should i say no room at all but everything works well. i will post pics by the weekend.thanks matty_et
