Hi Guys
We just Bought a Second Hand 2009 Liberty sports premuim gen5 for the wife wanted a GT but insurance was crazy for her age. drove the liberty back from melbourne to brisbane what a car awesome, But Two things, first the maps need up dating checked online and where is dont do the upgrade for the 2009 but do the update for the 2010 will this work ? i dont want to buy $295 of disc if it wont work. second question just reading some threads and the safety disable using a wire on the green plug but question is that unit in pic is different facia as our sports premuim are they the same?

Search for Whereis V19 C2 and don't lose the Nav disc that came with the car as it contains the Nav softwear.
As per the above if you can't work out the Nav hack for yourself using online how-to's... imho, the Nav hack is not for you.
But part of it usually requires grounding the Nav handbrake lockout wire at your own risk. :)

Having said that, it took me quite a while to get the Nav hacks worked out... Plenty of info on LGT and outback USA sites iirc...
