clock change on gen 5 3.6 premium sat.

Since it was daylight savings on the weekend i was trying to change the clock an hour on my gen 5 3.6r
The clock is in the little dash screen in the centre, with the fuel estimates and seatbelt warnings.
There is two buttons to the right of the clock which are up and down arrow buttons, but they only work for about 2 seconds on startup of the car, then as soon as the sat nav system boots up, the buttons become unusable and whatever small time change i was able to get goes back to the stock time it had before.
Theres no mention of a clock at all in the two manuals i have with the car, and i just called Subaru docklands and they guy said it would take half an hour to explain over the phone and it would be easier to come in. Surely its not that complicated?

It is changed via the sat nav.
Go into menu > setup > time and date/clock/something and there is an option to enable or disable DST.

These may be incorrect slightly, I am going off memory, but in my premium Gen V it is done via the sat nav.

Yeah i thought it must have been somewhere in the sat nav since that was what seemed to be cancelling out the clock buttons, but the options the menu gave me were only sat nav variants nothing for the clock, i'll have another look in the morning, cheers.

Yes, adjust via the SatNav, user settings, time? Daylight Savings On, just done mine the other day, easy!

Yeah turned out the clock display on the navigation was turned off, so since that was off i had no options to change 24 hour time or daylight savings, once i turned the clock display on for the sat nav then i got new options for daylight savings up. Cheers guys!
