Convert Audio Controls Steering Wheel

My Basic Dilemma is;

Had this steering wheel set up ^^^

But now have this vvv with the stock head Unit

Have basically followed these instructions below but still no luck in getting these controls to operate.

I'd double check you have all the plug/pinouts oriented correctly for starters.
