Headlight out!

Postby hayden » Thu Sep 26, 2013 6:25 pm

Hey guys,

only today did one side of my low beam headlight and fog light go out (passenger side), I know that I went through a water patch today because we had some heavy down pours this morning, I checked the fuse in the engine bay and all seemed fine, what do you guys think has happened? blown bulb? if so, is it worth getting brighter whiter bulbs?

Thanks

Swap the good bulbs to the other side and you will soon find out if it is just the bulbs or not

At least its on the left side of the car, don't have to take the airbox out :P

Probably the globes, were they cheapies? Whenever I buy cheap globes from supercheap they always seem to blow quickly. Make sure you get some decent Philips bulbs or something, have to change both sides if you want to go to the bright white globes

Bulbs come and go... Sucks being on the passenger side as you have to take the battery out first. Easy fix though ... The bulb holder is a twist and remove hand job. Don't get grease on the halogen globes.....
